Here are a few videos of newer country artists that I real enjoy so far and think will be consistent in the future:

The Band Perry – “Independence”

Easily one of the best new bands in recent years after hit singles like “Hip To My Heart” and “If I Die Young.” This acoustic performance shows the bands true talent and gives an idea of what to expect in the future from this band.

The JaneDear Girls – “Wildflower”

Saw these girls perform a month ago. I dont think this song or video is a great display of what they are capable of, but I loved their style and thought they had some real talent in song writing and musically.

Easton Corbin – “I’m a Little More Country Than That”

This is one of the biggest stars this year and it is obvious why. Great talent from a young guy with a very George Straight influenced sound. Can’t wait to see him at Stagecoach this year.

Love this song… love this video… have a strange attraction to crowder’s hair

This section will show my current playlist I am listening to this month… BTW I miss the Mix Tape on cassette… it forced people to listen to the songs in the order you intended them, they couldn’t just skip through the songs. I want to find a program that will take an entire CD and make it into one track… no skips allowed.

So i was browsing the Australian alternative charts the other day and this song happened to be at the top this week. This band has had 3 albums in the last few years and have peaked at having the #2 Aussie record on the charts this time around with their self titled “Birds of Tokyo” album. Older stuff is a bit rough, but I like his voice and will be getting this album soon to see how the rest of the CD goes…..video is so-so, but good song.

We want to start off by sharing our top 5 modern (last 15 years) albums…
